Deploy on DigitalOcean without the ops.
Already on DigitalOcean? Point Beep at a Droplet and get the App Platform experience without per-app pricing: every service on the Droplet shares what you already pay for.
Connect
From a fresh DigitalOcean server to a platform
Create a Basic 2 vCPU / 4 GB or larger in your DigitalOcean account, or use one you already run, then connect it with one command. Beep installs its runtime and agent, locks the server down, and it is ready in minutes.
Why DigitalOcean.
- ✓Droplets in regions across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia
- ✓Keep your existing DigitalOcean account, billing and networking
- ✓Run many services on one Droplet instead of paying per app
List prices checked October 2026. You pay DigitalOcean for the server directly.
Deploy
git push. Everything else is handled.
Every push to your tracked branch builds and releases on its own. Traffic moves only when health checks pass, and every GitHub pull request gets its own preview environment, removed when it closes.
Priced
Four workloads on DigitalOcean.
What each workload costs with DigitalOcean servers, paid to DigitalOcean directly, plus one Beep plan.
Beep on DigitalOcean, answered.
Straight answers. Anything missing, ask us directly.
Do I need a DigitalOcean account?
Yes. The server lives in your own DigitalOcean account and DigitalOcean bills you for it directly; Beep manages it for you. If you would rather not hold a cloud account, start on Beep Cloud instead.
How do I connect a DigitalOcean server?
Create an Ubuntu or Debian server in your DigitalOcean account, then connect it with one install command or over SSH. Beep sets it up from there.
Which DigitalOcean server should I start with?
A 2 vCPU, 4 GB server such as the Basic 2 vCPU / 4 GB is a sensible starting point for a few small apps and a database. Beep bills per server, so everything you add to it rides along on the same plan.
Which servers can I use?
Beep Cloud, your own cloud account, or any Ubuntu or Debian VPS. Beep installs its runtime and agent, then locks the server down: inbound traffic is denied by default, and app ports are reachable only from Beep’s edge over an encrypted private network.
Can I SSH into my servers?
No, and that’s deliberate. Beep manages each host end to end, so manual changes can’t conflict with its setup and Beep can stay responsible for security. To debug, open a shell inside any container from the dashboard, right next to your logs and metrics.
